The ALOSRA CIRCLE is operated by Alosra Supermarket W.L.L. The Alosra Supermarket website (the ''Website'') and the Application offered to ALOSRA CIRCLE members conditioned on acceptance by the member of these Terms & Conditions. By accessing and using the Website and the Application, you have agreed to all such Terms & Conditions.

ALOSRA CIRCLE is governed by the program rules. Alosra reserves the right to change, add, modify, or amend any part of the ALOSRA CIRCLE at any time in accordance with the program rules. This right includes, but is not limited to, changes in ALOSRA CIRCLE partner affiliation, rules for earning and redeeming points, rules for use, member benefits and specific features of promotional offers.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The information published on the Website and the Application may be incomplete or include inaccuracies or typographical errors. ALOSRA CIRCLE does not represent or warrant that access to the Website/Application will be uninterrupted or that there will be no failures, errors or omissions or loss of transmitted information, or that no viruses will be transmitted. ALOSRA CIRCLE makes no representations about the suitability of the information, products, and services contained on the Website/Application for any purpose.

All such information, products, and services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. ALOSRA CIRCLE hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions regarding the information, products, and services, including all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a purpose, title and non-infringement.

Under no circumstances shall ALOSRA CIRCLE be liable for any loss or damage caused by your use or reliance on information obtained through third party websites.

You agree to indemnify Alosra its employees, agents and representatives, and to hold them harmless from and against any and all claims, and liabilities (including legal costs) that may arise from your submissions to the Website and the Application, from your use of material obtained through the Website and the Application, from your breach of these Terms & Conditions, or from any such acts arising through your use of the Website and the Application.

ALOSRA CIRCLE reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deny access to the Website and the Application or any portion of it without notice or liability.

PRIVACY

Your privacy is very important to us, that’s why we will never release your personal details outside ALOSRA CIRCLE for marketing purposes. We will treat all your personal information as confidential. We will keep your details on a secure server that will only be accessible by us. 

However, we would like to keep you up to date with a range of products and services provided by ALOSRA CIRCLE and its associated brands. This includes news of special events, promotions, product launches and catalogues. We may contact you by post, telephone, SMS text messaging and/or email.

You have the right to request a copy of any information we hold on you at any time, and to have that information corrected if it is inaccurate. When you shop/register on this website/application, we will ask you to input and will collect personal information from you such as your name, email address, date of birth, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, product selections, and a password.

You should be aware that this site/application is being monitored and may capture information about your visit that will help us improve the quality of our service.

We confirm that any personal information that you provide to us (or which is available on public registers) and any user information from which we can identify you, is held in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. We use your information only for the following purposes:

We keep a record of your purchases with us, which means we can create lists of your favorite items to make your shopping experience quicker and more convenient. It also means we can deal a lot quicker with any problems you may experience with your order.

THE ALOSRA CIRCLE

These terms and conditions, in conjunction with the privacy policy, are applicable across the ALOSRA CIRCLE and any participation is considered as acceptance.

ALOSRA CIRCLE account, card, key fobs, coupons, vouchers and points, in whatever form, are issued by and remain the property of Alosra Supermarket W.L.L which may, at any time, terminate the program or alter or amend the conditions of operation of the program.

All members of the ALSORA CIRCLE must be aged 18 years or over. A corporation, firm or partnership or other entity is not eligible to be a member.

Members are only entitled to one loyalty account each. At the members discretion; can share the login details and have the same account registered simultaneously on multiple devices. Sharing the personal information to others is a risk that is at the members discretion. Alosra Supermarket will not be held liable for any misconduct that may occur due to the sharing of personal login information; Alosra Supermarket advises not to share any personal information to anyone. ALOSRA CIRCLE reserves the right to refuse, merge or close additional accounts at any time.

The ALOSRA CIRCLE card or account, in whatever form, is not transferable, cannot be copied and can only be used by the member who is named and registered for the account.

ALOSRA CIRCLE cards, coupons, and vouchers remain the responsibility of the Alosra Loyalty member, as do any security details relating to the account. Alosra cannot be held responsible for any loss arising from the member failing to ensure the safe keeping of these items.

Alosra may decline to issue, withdraw or cancel ALOSRA CIRCLE accounts, cards, key fobs, coupons, vouchers and points, in whatever form, and / or remove a member from the ALOSRA CIRCLE at any time where there is reasonable belief of:

1. any abuse or attempted abuse of the program.
2. any breach or attempted breach of these terms and conditions and / or those relating to the optional elements of the ALOSRA CIRCLE.
3. any behavior relating to the ALOSRA CIRCLE or the BMMI Group that involves theft, misconduct, abusive or offensive behavior, or supplying false or misleading information.

ALOSRA CIRCLE cards, accounts and key fobs can only be used for purchases from Alosra Supermarket and promotional partners who are part of the program.

The program is only for personal and consumer use. ALOSRA CIRCLE cards and key fobs cannot be used for any business transaction or purpose

ALOSRA CIRCLE accounts, cards, key fobs, coupons, points and vouchers cannot be transferred, bought, sold or in any way traded.

Members may be able to express a preference for their statement, and where we have their consent other Alosra Loyalty mailings, to be sent to their registered e-mail address or mobile phone number. We will endeavor to respect this preference but reserve the right to send these to the member's registered postal address without prior notification to the member. This may be necessary for business or policy reasons or where there are problems with the registered email address or mobile phone number provided by the member.

Members can choose to leave the program at any time. By leaving the ALOSRA CIRCLE members forfeit the right to any points or vouchers already accrued or issued.

Members who do not collect any points for six consecutive calendar months will have their points cancelled.

Members may inherit the points or vouchers of a family member who has died by providing a written request informing us of the membership details of the deceased and is done so at the discretion of the management of Alosra Supermarket W.L.L. In the event that a member is deceased attested evidence by an official governing body must be provided where the individuals account can be taken over by the requesting family relative or next of kin.

POINTS

Members must present their ALOSRA CIRCLE QR Code from the ‘My Card’ located on the homepage of the application at the checkout to collect points for a transaction in store. Members may no longer earn their points by quoting their registered mobile number, only the QR will be permitted to acquire loyalty points. Members who forget to do this may have their points added manually up to 14 days after the transaction upon production of a valid receipt, providing the receipt belongs to the claiming member and is based on their personal spend. Points may only be claimed for up to two receipts per day.

To be awarded points, members must spend above BD1.000 on eligible products. The member must have collected a minimum of 50 points to start redeeming. For every BD1 spent (excluding VAT), the member will receive 1 point. Each point translates to 20 fils when redeeming. The amount of points awarded may change and may vary with promotions depending on the products bought, the amount spent and where the transaction takes place.

Where points can be collected with partner’s further terms and conditions may apply.

Points will not be awarded for some selected non-qualifying products, including cigarettes, tobacco or tobacco related products, telephone top up cards & their related products, dairy & poultry products and these products may be updated at any time without notice.

ALOSRA may set a limit on the number of times points may be awarded for promotional items on which additional points are available. Individual promotions may have different limits as communicated in their purchase conditions. Any participation in promotional offers above and beyond what could objectively be considered consumer behavior or personal use may be considered as abuse of the program.

ALOSRA CIRCLE is entitled to remove points at any time if products are returned for any reason and a full or partial refund of the purchase price is given. This also applies to the exchange of products unless the exchange is for products with an equivalent points value.

Points awarded at the time of the transaction or vouchers already issued may be removed or cancelled if ALOSRA CIRCLE   determines that the points were collected in breach of these terms and conditions or were awarded in error. For the avoidance of doubt, any advice or actions of our staff that is contrary to these terms and conditions will not have the effect of changing these terms and conditions.

Alosra is under no obligation to award ALOSRA CIRCLE points for any reason outside of qualifying transactions.

OPTING OUT OF ALOSRA CIRCLE   

If you no longer wish to be a ALOSRA CIRCLE member, please contact the supermarket’s customer service centre on +973 17739290 or email to customercare@alosra.com.bh.

If you opt out of ALOSRA CIRCLE  , any accumulated ALOSRA CIRCLE   points will be deleted, and you may not have access to other ALOSRA CIRCLE   benefits. If you later re-join ALOSRA CIRCLE  , any deleted ALOSRA CIRCLE   points will not be reinstated.

If you or Alosra deletes, suspends or closes your ALOSRA CIRCLE   account or your Alosra account, any accumulated ALOSRA CIRCLE   will be deleted and you may not have access to other ALOSRA CIRCLE   benefits.

Any deleted ALOSRA CIRCLE   points will not be reinstated. In the event of any abusive or fraudulent activity related to ALOSRA CIRCLE  , and/or any violation of ALOSRA CIRCLE  ’s Terms and Conditions, as determined in our sole discretion, Alosra reserves the right to make any adjustments to your ALOSRA CIRCLE   account and/or terminate your participation in ALOSRA CIRCLE   at any time.

If you enroll or participate in ALOSRA CIRCLE   using an invalid telephone number, such as a toll-free number, international telephone number, invalid area code or invalid exchange, Alosra reserves the right to delete ALOSRA CIRCLE   points and any other ALOSRA CIRCLE   benefit associated with the invalid telephone number. Alosra will not reinstate any deleted ALOSRA CIRCLE   points or other ALOSRA CIRCLE   benefits if a valid telephone number is subsequently provided.

Alosra reserves the right to change, limit, modify or terminate ALOSRA CIRCLE  , the ALOSRA CIRCLE   Terms and Conditions and/or your membership, for any or no reason, at any time, with or without notice.

GENERAL

The Program Rules may be changed, varied, suspended or terminated at any time without notice where permitted by law, save that reasonable efforts will be used to promptly post details of that change or variation, suspension or termination (as the case may be) to the Website/Application. In the event of any conflict between this version of the Program Rules and any version of the Program Rules published on the Website/Application the latter shall prevail.

The Member's use of his or her membership card/account or quoting of his or her membership number after any change or variation to the Program Rules will be deemed to be acceptance by the Member to that change or variation.

The Program Rules are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain and any proceeding with respect to or in connection with ALOSRA CIRCLE   must be brought in that jurisdiction. Membership, including eligibility for membership and points, is subject to any applicable laws and regulations.

ALOSRA CIRCLE   does not operate (or will cease to operate) in a jurisdiction in which it would be prohibited (or becomes prohibited) by any relevant law or governmental direction.

Reasonable care has been taken to ensure that information contained in the Program Rules and in any publications and advertisements in connection with ALOSRA CIRCLE   is accurate, but ALOSRA CIRCLE   will not accept any liability with respect to any errors or omissions in any information, whether written or verbal.

Any part of these Program Rules which is unenforceable for any reason shall be considered capable of being cut out so as not to affect the remainder of these Program Rules in any way. ALOSRA CIRCLE   shall not be required to provide any service or otherwise act in pursuance of these Program Rules if to do so would be contrary to law.

Members may be required to provide documentation at check out that can establish the Member's identity and membership to ALOSRA CIRCLE. If a member fails to comply with this requirement, ALOSRA CIRCLE   reserves the right to refuse the use of the loyalty card or membership.
